It is with regret that we must inform you that Mary Rodgers Guettel has been taken seriously ill and that therefore Adam Guettel will not be able to appear as scheduled.
However, we are pleased to announce that the concert will still be going ahead!
The evening promises to be a spectacular event with Maria Friedman and friends, together with a six piece band and support vocalists, celebrating the work of composer and lyricist Adam Guettel, and touching on the work of his mother Mary Rodgers Guettel and grandfather Richard Rodgers. A number of songs are being introduced to audiences for the very first time.

“Maria Friedman - far and away the best singer of her generation” The Spectator
“Adam Guettel is so overwhelmingly gifted that any news of his activities stirs the kind of fervent expectations that surround Stephen Sondheim, and before that, Leonard Bernstein” The New York Times

An intimate evening celebrating the work of double Tony Award winning composer lyricist Adam Guettel who performs and plays alongside triple Olivier Award winning Maria Friedman and their band.
